About this role
Accountabilities: • Monitor and support enterprise infrastructure and services, including networks, servers, databases, storage, applications, and websites.
• Detect and manage service outages and performance degradations through incident identification, ticket management, escalation, stakeholder communication, and recovery coordination.
• Plan and execute Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) while minimizing operational disruption.
• Investigate incidents, analyze logs and test results, perform root cause analysis, and validate corrective actions.
• Design, execute, and document integration, end-to-end, regression, and automated testing activities.
• Validate system functionality, data flows, APIs, and interoperability between connected systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve monitoring tools, operational dashboards, and automated testing capabilities.
• Track and document defects, testing outcomes, operational events, procedures, and recovery activities.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, product owners, and support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure operational readiness.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow established change management, configuration management, and operational procedures.
• Support additional technical and operational assignments as required.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Network Operations, Systems Integration Testing, IT Operations, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting operational processes.
• Experience performing integration, system, or end-to-end testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification .
• Active Secret Security Clearance .
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
• Knowledge of IT operations, service monitoring, incident management, systems integration, infrastructure, networking, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with automated testing concepts and scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex technical information effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively within a technical team.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, leadership, customers, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as standard collaboration and ticketing platforms.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and discreetly.
• Ability to work in confined rack spaces and perform occasional kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to use computers for extended periods and regularly lift or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds, with heavier lifting occasionally required.
• An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience supporting Network Operations Center (NOC) environments, enterprise monitoring tools, automated testing frameworks, government environments, or other mission-critical systems is preferred.
• CCNP certification and a Secret clearance at a higher level are additional advantages.
