About this role
Duties and Responsibilities Content & Channel Management
• Own the organic content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, etc.)
• Adapt brand/campaign/product messaging into native, platform-specific content
• Manage day-to-day posting, captions, and channel upkeep
• Stay current on platform trends, formats, and algorithm shifts
Social-First Campaigns
• Conceive and pitch campaign ideas designed natively for social (not just repurposed from other channels)
• Build formats around platform-specific mechanics (trends, sounds, challenges, series)
• Partner with Brand/Creative early so social isn't an afterthought in campaign planning
• Own creative concepting for always-on and moment-driven social content
Community & Engagement
• Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in brand voice
• Flag customer service issues to the right team (vs. Gladly/CX)
• Build relationships with community members and repeat engagers
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Translate campaign/product launch plans (from your Pod) into social content
• Coordinate with the paid social/affiliate team so organic and paid don't collide or duplicate
• Work with Creative on asset needs specific to social formats
Creator/Influencer Touchpoints (organic side)
• Repost/amplify creator content organically
• Identify emerging creators for outreach (handoff to affiliate/partnerships team as needed)
• Align posting with tiktok/tiktokshop and instagram shop tagging needs
Reporting & Insight
• Track organic engagement, follower growth, and content performance
• Surface content learnings back to Brand/Product/Affiliate to inform strategy
• Competitive/trend monitoring (what's working for competitors, category)
Crisis/Reputation
• First responder for social listening on brand sentiment issues
• Escalation path for PR-sensitive moments
Qualifications • 3–5+ years in social media management, organic content creation, or digital marketing (D2C, e-commerce, or consumer brand experience preferred).
• Proven track record of growing organic audiences and managing multi-channel social calendars across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
• Hands-on experience with social commerce tools, specifically TikTok Shop and Instagram Shop integration and tagging.
• Strong creative ideation skills with a deep understanding of platform-specific mechanics (trending audio, native formats, series, and viral mechanics).
• Experience partnering with Creative, Paid Media, and Influencer/Affiliate teams to align messaging and avoid content duplication.
• Proficiency in social analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, platform native analytics) to translate engagement metrics into strategic insights.
• Excellent written communication skills in a distinct brand voice, with experience handling community engagement and flagging PR/reputation risks.
• Experience with social media management software.
• basic video/image editing skills tailored for quick-turn social content (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
