Headquartered in Chicago, Toronto, and London with offices across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the firm has over $108 billion in assets under management on behalf of institutional investors and registered investment advisors globally. Founded on a culture of innovation, HSAM is an early mover in alternative real estate and mid-market infrastructure. The team works closely with the Investor Relations Group to raise capital, marketing to investors and onboarding them into a fund. With the capital raised, Portfolio Management works with the Acquisition Group and the Investment Committee to build the portfolio to achieve a targeted return within the fund’s risk framework. Portfolio Management then works with Asset Management as they execute each real estate asset’s business plan. Along the way Portfolio Management is responsible for operating the fund in compliance with the fund documents and communicating performance to all stakeholders. Being involved in every step of the process provides a broad and valuable experience in Private Equity Real Estate.
