Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing entries

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Maintain and review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness

• Support client billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and related calculations

• Review accounts payable activity and support payment processing

• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist with annual audit and tax requests

• Perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting

• Research accounting matters as needed

• Document and improve accounting procedures, reports, and internal processes

• Partner with the Controller and other members of the finance team on ongoing initiatives

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles

• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Strong Excel and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment

Preferred Experience: • Public accounting/audit experience or a combination of public and corporate accounting

• CPA or progress toward CPA designation

• Experience with NetSuite or another large ERP

• Financial services or other complex corporate accounting experience

• Experience improving accounting processes, reporting, or systems
