Action Property Management seeks a Part-time Sales & Marketing Assistant for our Corporate Office located in Irvine, CA. Job Summary The Sales & Marketing Assistant supports Action’s business development and marketing efforts through prospect research, email outreach preparation, content organization, and project coordination. This part-time role is well suited to someone who enjoys independent, detail-oriented work and can keep several ongoing projects organized. Compensation: $22 per hour Schedule: Varies; up to 20 hours per week. Remote position.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties) Business Development Research & Outreach
• Support business development initiatives through market research, prospect identification, and lead development across Action’s service areas.
• Maintain and organize prospect data, outreach activity, and pipeline-related information to support ongoing sales efforts.
• Assist with targeted outreach strategies and communications for prospective clients and key market segments.
• Research emerging business opportunities, including new developments, self-managed communities, and changes within the competitive landscape.
• Support New Business Development managers with research, proposal resources, RFP materials, and tools designed to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of business development processes, resources, and technology-assisted solutions.
Marketing & Content Support
• Support ongoing marketing initiatives, brand reputation efforts, and content management across digital and internal platforms.
• Help maintain accurate, current marketing materials and community-related content as Action’s portfolio evolves.
• Organize and maintain marketing assets, photography, content libraries, and related resources.
• Assist with content development, video support, and other creative marketing needs.
• Support podcast, educational, and accreditation-related marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate branded promotional materials and other resources used to support marketing, sales, and client engagement efforts.
• Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams on special projects and department priorities as needed.
Who You Are (Skills/Experience) • High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred. Current college students are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Strong research, organization, and data-entry skills, with close attention to detail.
• Clear, professional writing skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
• Ability to manage recurring tasks and longer-term projects independently.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, shared content libraries, and email marketing platforms; ActiveCampaign experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools for research or drafting, with the judgment to verify information before use.
• Experience in marketing, sales support, business development, or the community association industry is helpful.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.
