ABOUT THE ROLE

Valinor Condor is building the next generation of autonomous VTOL aircraft for defense and enterprise applications. We're a small, technical team moving fast — our vehicle is flying, our customers are real, and the work spans simulation to real life.

Condor is seeking a Drone Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is critical to scaling our manufacturing capability and supporting rapid growth. This position will start as a 3-month contract role, with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Perform precision mechanical assembly of small UAS platforms and subassemblies

- Conduct electrical assembly, including soldering and wiring

- Support component/assembly testing

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or integration issues with engineering support

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop in accordance with ESD and safety protocols

- Support continuous improvement in assembly processes and documentation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly

- Proficiency in soldering and wiring for small electronics

- Familiarity with 3D printing, drones, UAS, robotics, or RC systems strongly preferred

- Ability to read and follow technical assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams

- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset

- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
