COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often specialists and medical services are overwhelmed with referrals and the painstakingly manual process it takes to qualify your referral prevents them from getting around to it on time, or sometimes at all. Tennr prevents these delays and denials by making sure every referral gets where it needs to go, with the right info, at the right time. Powered by RaeLM™ Tennr reads, extracts, and acts on every piece of patient information so providers can capture more referrals, slash denials, and reduce delays.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to own design for Tennr’s core work surfaces, beginning with Validate and Workspace management, before growing into Patient Hub ownership.

You’ll lead work end-to-end: discovery with customers, problem framing, systems-level design, and shipping + iterating closely with PM and engineering. You prototype in Figma and in code, and you optimize for fast learning and real user impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own design for Validate + Workspace management; improve speed/accuracy for ops users.

- Transition into Patient Hub ownership as it scales from GA to daily use.

- Lead discovery (interviews, shadowing, usability testing) and turn insight into decisions.

- Design scalable patterns for dense, multi-state operational workflows.

- Iterate quickly from concept → production; test, learn, refine.

- Reuse and extend Lasso (design system); document new patterns.

- Communicate rationale clearly to teams, execs, customers, and partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years product design experience; strong craft on complex desktop web products.

- Comfortable owning research directly; credible with customers.

- Systems thinker (workflows, states, patterns) with strong product judgment.

- Proven ability to ship, iterate, and make tradeoffs.

- Design-systems experience.

- Technical fluency to collaborate on feasibility and prototype in code.

- Strong writing + verbal communication; ownership mindset.

- Excited about improving healthcare operations.
