About this role

TL;DR: We’re looking for a Content Lead to turn complex AI safety topics into clear, compelling stories that build trust, shape White Circle’s voice, and drive product adoption. You’ll own content end-to-end: find the story, define the angle, write it, publish it, and make sure it reaches the right technical audience.

ABOUT WHITE CIRCLE

White Circle https://whitecircle.ai/ is an AI Safety company building the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems. At the core of our platform are policies – simple natural-language rules that define what an AI model should and shouldn’t do. We automatically test, enforce, and continuously improve these policies at scale.

- We’ve recently raised our Series A funding round, taking our total funding to $70M. Our investors include top funds, founders, and senior leaders at OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, Mistral, DeepMind, Datadog, Sentry, and others

- We process over one hundred million API calls every month

- We fine-tune and train our own LLMs so they run faster and cheaper than any open or proprietary model

We’re a small, highly focused team. If you want to work deeply on hard problems, see your work ship to production quickly, and influence how AI safety is actually built – you’re the one we need.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own White Circle's content vision and editorial direction

- Turn customer conversations into case studies, customer stories, and reference materials

- Write and publish long-form content across Medium, Substack, LinkedIn, X, and our website

- Develop technical and non-technical content explaining AI safety, evaluation, governance, and reliability

- Create launch narratives for new products, features, and research initiatives

- Partner closely with product, as well as supporting wider business teams where needed

- Help founders maintain a consistent public voice across LinkedIn, X, conferences, and other channels

- Build repeatable processes for content creation, publication, and distribution

- Experiment with new formats, channels, and ways of reaching technical audience

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

- Is an exceptional writer

- Has 5+ years of experience in a similar role

- Can take a complex technical topic and explain it clearly without oversimplifying it

- Knows how to find interesting stories inside products, customers, and technology

- Has strong editorial judgment

- Can independently identify what is worth publishing and what isn't

- Has experience creating content for technical audiences

- Can move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on writing

- Is fluent in English

A big plus

- You have an engineering, computer science, or technical background

- You have built an audience through writing

- You have a track record of making technical topics compelling, whether at a developer tools or AI company, in tech journalism, or through your own writing and audience

- You've written content that materially influenced product adoption, company positioning, or revenue generation

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Competitive compensation package, including equity

- Flexible time off

- Health insurance

- Mental health support, including coverage for therapy when you need it

- 401(k) retirement plan

- Learning and development support for courses, conferences, and opportunities to grow your skills

- All the hardware, subscriptions, tools, and services you need

- Team off-sites twice a year: we’ve recently been to the Alps, Saint-Tropez, and Marbella

PROCESS

2. Take-home assignment

3. Final conversation with CEO and Head of Design & Creative (45 min)

About this listing

Published on Ashby under the board identifier Whitecircle, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.

RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.

Published 12 September 2026, last checked yesterday. A posting stops being advertised here 90 days after the employer published it, and one the employer takes down is marked closed rather than quietly removed.
