About this role

Before the detail, here's the challenge you'd help us solve.

We build the embodied intelligence that moves real vehicles safely, and the ecosystem a billion machines will run on in the future. Very few people in AI can say this. Every role here, whatever the team, plugs into that.

Here’s what this particular role covers.

The role

Wayve is looking for an Office Manager / EA Support professional to create an exceptional workplace experience for our team in Leonberg.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy, fast-paced office, ensuring it is safe, welcoming and operating smoothly. Working closely with colleagues across the business and the Global Workplace team, you’ll make a visible impact through excellent office operations, hospitality, events and administrative support.

This is an on-site role for someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys making workplaces better every day.

Key responsibilities - Lead the daily operation of Wayve’s Leonberg office, keeping the workplace safe, well-presented, fully stocked and running efficiently. - Prepare meeting rooms and coordinate high-quality hospitality for executive meetings, customer visits and internal events. - Plan and deliver office events, socials and workplace initiatives that strengthen the colleague experience. - Manage suppliers, contractors, building relationships, deliveries, catering and other workplace services. - Support onboarding by preparing desks, access and welcome materials for new colleagues. - Provide reliable administrative support to the People team, including posting, printing, filing and coordinating documents. - Monitor health and safety standards, complete routine workplace inspections and address issues proactively. - Act as the main point of contact for colleagues on day-to-day workplace matters, balancing competing priorities with calm judgement. - Identify and implement opportunities to improve workplace operations, service quality and the overall office experience.

About you To set you up for success in this role at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.

Essential - Experience managing a busy office in a fast-paced environment, with clear ownership of day-to-day operations. - Experience leading or supervising a Reception or Front of House team and maintaining consistently high service standards. - Strong organisational and planning skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once. - Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors and building-management relationships. - Experience organising workplace events, hospitality and executive or customer visits. - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a proactive and customer-focused approach. - Sound judgement, composure under pressure and a track record of solving operational problems effectively. - Availability to work on-site in Leonberg five days per week.

Desirable - Experience supporting colleague onboarding and workplace access or desk-readiness processes. - Familiarity with workplace health and safety inspections and maintaining a safe office environment. - Experience providing administrative support to a People or leadership team.Evidence of proactively improving an office process, service or workplace experience.

A quick, honest note before you apply.

Wayve is not a mature, fully-structured place with the playbook already written. Much of how we work is still being written, and if you join, you’ll help write it. That suits people who want real ownership more than people who need a settled structure from day one.

If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to spend your time on, we’d really like to hear from you.

RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
