About this role
Who we are
We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?
Why would you love this job?
You will own GTM compensation strategy for a global organization of 500+ participants, setting the plan, quota, and crediting design that drives how Redis compensates its customer facing teams. This role is based in the SF Bay Area (hybrid), reports to the VP, GTM Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Own the annual sales compensation planning cycle: plan design, pay mix, accelerators, and cost modeling, from AOP inputs through CRO and Finance approval
- Lead plan rollout for 500+ participants across AMER, EMEA, and APAC, including plan documents, participant communication and manager enablement
- Own quota setting and allocation methodology, plus territory crediting, split, and overlay rules, in partnership with Sales Ops, Finance, and sales leadership
- Govern SPIFFs, exceptions, and disputes: define the policy, run the approval process, and maintain a clean audit trail
- Measure plan effectiveness through attainment distribution, cost of sales, and payout analysis, and bring design recommendations to GTM and Finance leadership
What will you need to have?
- 8+ years of sales compensation experience, including ownership of plan design
- Experience across multiple B2B technology sales environments (SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure software)
- Ownership of comp programs with several hundred participants across multiple roles and regions
- Track record of running the annual planning cycle and rollout end to end, including quota methodology and crediting rules
- Strong financial modeling skills: plan cost, attainment scenarios, and payout curves
- Ability to present and defend plan recommendations to the CRO, CFO, and executive leadership
Extra great if you have:
- Experience with Xactly Incent and Salesforce
- Comp design for consumption-based, marketplace, or partner-led revenue
- Prior people management experience

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $170,000 - $210,000 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.

Published on Ashby under the board identifier Redis, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.
RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
