About this role
OWN THE INTERFACE INTO THE RECALL PLATFORM
At Recall.ai http://Recall.ai, we are building the API to record, understand and search conversations as context for AI. Making our users successful is a highly technical product problem. Our users have no priors to compare us to and there is no competition to copy ideas from.
You’ll be our 12th engineering hire and the first fully dedicated to customer and agentic interfaces.
You’ll find the right problems, own the roadmap, and build features 1000’s of companies rely on every day.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
- You’ll own entire products within the platform, from the dashboard to the MCP and whatever is next, you’ll figure out how to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.
- Recall is critical infrastructure processing real-time data, going down, even for a couple of seconds, causes major disruptions. We own the reliability of our infrastructure. You’ll own the product experience that helps customers build reliably on top of it.
- Our job is to offload highly technical workloads from our customers and their agents. Your job is making product decisions at the intersection of that technical depth and our customer needs to make our products “just work”.
- We sell to engineers and engineers are the users. This role is for engineers that think deeply about product and want to talk to users directly. You’ll figure out what to solve.
- Building Recall is hard. You’ll make sure using it isn’t.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- The dashboard and MCP. You’ll own the experience engineers and their agents have while integrating, debugging and supporting the Recall platform.
- Product roadmap. You’ll interview users, analyze user behavior and run experiments to validate your hypotheses. You’ll figure out what needs to be solved next to have the most impact.
Success means customers integrate quicker, need less support and are more successful on the Recall platform. Every improvement you make has a measurable impact in customer happiness and retention.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You are an expert full-stack engineer. You can break down complex problems into a clean architecture and maintainable code across frontend and backend. We use django and typescript. Unlimited tokens.
- You uncover what people actually need. You ask good questions, dig into nebulous problems, and turn vague concerns into clear problems.
- You have strong product judgment. You think about the end-outcome and constantly optimize for user success.
- You build for the next era for developers. You love that agents let users get more done, faster and to a higher degree of quality, you build with an agent-first mindset.
- You are paranoid about security. Keeping customer data safe is your top priority and writing code with security in mind is second-nature.
IS THIS YOUR KIND OF WORK?
If you want to own entire products, live at the intersection between highly technical users and deep systems problems, and see your work used by 1000’s of companies we’d love to meet you.

About this listing
Published on Ashby under the board identifier Recall, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.
RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
Published 13 October 2026, last checked yesterday. A posting stops being advertised here 90 days after the employer published it, and one the employer takes down is marked closed rather than quietly removed.
