About this role

PointOne is looking for a multidisciplinary brand designer to define how we show up and build the creative engine behind our growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move from concept to finished work: evolve our identity, design campaigns, create and edit video, and direct agencies and production partners.

ABOUT POINTONE

PointOne helps law firms capture their work and turn it into accurate, compliant time entries and better business insight. Our platform combines automated time capture, billing rules, pre-bill review and analytics. We are building a category-defining company in legal AI, and our brand must make complex ideas clear, credible and memorable.

THE ROLE

You will own PointOne’s visual expression across every major touchpoint, from a 15-second social video to a product launch, website page, event environment, customer film, or sales presentation.

You will be both a maker and an art director, working closely with Growth, leadership, Product, Sales, and Customer Success. This is a hands-on brand, content and campaigns role, not a pure management or product design position.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Build and evolve the PointOne brand

- Evolve our visual identity and translate it into a practical brand system that can grow with the company.

- Own and maintain the brand kit, including typography, color, layout, illustration, photography, motion and video principles.

- Create reusable templates and asset libraries that help the team move quickly while keeping every touchpoint unmistakably PointOne.

Create content and campaigns

- Turn business priorities, product launches, customer stories and industry insights into strong creative concepts.

- Design and deliver assets across social, web, email, paid media, reports, case studies, presentations, sales collateral, events, partnerships and out-of-home campaigns.

- Build a repeatable video engine, including short-form social content, product storytelling, customer interviews, event coverage and campaign films.

- Storyboard, edit and animate content yourself when appropriate, and adapt larger productions into channel-specific assets that extend their value.

Lead creative production

- Plan and art-direct photo and video shoots, including briefs, references, storyboards and stakeholder alignment.

- Select and manage agencies, production companies, photographers, editors, animators and freelance designers.

- Own timelines, budgets, feedback and quality control across external productions.

Operate as a creative partner

- Partner with Growth to translate strategy into a focused, high-impact creative roadmap.

- Work directly with executives, customers and subject-matter experts to find the human story inside complex ideas.

- Prioritize competing requests, communicate tradeoffs and use campaign performance to improve the work without sacrificing craft or brand distinctiveness.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- At least three to five years of experience in multidisciplinary brand design, ideally in-house at a high-growth technology company or at an agency serving ambitious brands.

- An exceptional portfolio spanning brand systems and finished campaigns, with meaningful strength in motion or video.

- Strong art direction, typography, layout and editorial design skills, plus the ability to develop an original concept and execute it hands-on.

- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, including video-editing and motion-design tools such as Premiere Pro and After Effects.

- Experience planning shoots and managing agencies, freelancers or production partners.

- Excellent project management and communication skills, including the confidence to present creative thinking and incorporate feedback without losing the idea.

- Comfort working at startup speed and moving between high-level creative direction and detailed production work.

- Curiosity about AI-enabled creative tools and the judgment to use them thoughtfully rather than generically.

You do not need experience in legal technology. You do need to be excited by the challenge of making a complex, traditionally conservative industry feel modern, human and culturally relevant.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, fintech, professional services or another trust-driven category.

- Additional strength in illustration, photography, 3D, web design or lightweight web production.

- Experience building creative operations or performance creative for a growing team.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

- PointOne has a clear, distinctive visual system that is consistently applied across the company.

- We publish high-quality, multi-format content on a reliable cadence, with video as a core capability rather than an occasional production.

- Campaigns, customer stories and launches move from idea to market faster, with stronger creative quality and less ad hoc coordination.

- Our brand earns attention in a crowded AI market while maintaining the clarity and credibility required to sell to leading law firms, and external partners operate as an effective extension of the team.

HOW TO APPLY

Please send your resume and portfolio, including two or three projects that explain the problem, your role, the thinking and the result. We would especially like to see one multi-channel brand system and one motion, video or larger production project.
