What you'll be doing

As our Senior Software Engineer in the Consumer Wealth team, you'll play a key role in shaping how our users grow and manage their savings and investments. You'll be a technical expert for the Consumer domain, driving initiatives that empower millions to build financial well-being through our savings products, invested money box, and investment solutions. Here's what that looks like in practice:

- Drive Technical Excellence - Design and build scalable, high-quality systems that solve complex financial engineering problems within our savings and wealth management back-end.

- Contribute to Architecture - Participate in architecting subsystems that power savings and investment features, ensuring cross-product consistency.

- Collaborate and Align - Build relationships across teams to drive technical alignment and ensure smooth delivery of impactful features.

- Mentor and Develop - Guide and mentor fellow engineers, championing a culture of high-quality engineering and continuous improvement.

- Generate Impact - Play a vital role in helping users grow their wealth by owning your work from start to finish using our tech stack (PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, microservices, etc.).

Who we're looking for

This role needs someone who excels in problem-solving and cross-team collaboration with deep technical expertise.

- Extensive Experience - At least 5 years of related experience in back-end software engineering within product-based companies, with a proven track record of building and maintaining microservices and cloud environments.

- Domain Expertise - Deep experience working with Java (or other OOP languages) and a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus). Experience with financial systems or transactional consistency is a big plus.

- Effective Communication - Able to communicate in a structured and convincing manner, building trust positively and professionally with various stakeholders.

- Technical Mentorship - A proven ability to share knowledge, review code critically, and help elevate the technical standards of the team.

- Passion and Language Skills - Passionate about empowering users to grow their savings through technology, comfortable in fast-paced FinTech environments, and fluent in English.

Salary: €51.000 - €66.500 gross per annum.

This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria for the role's core requirements. However, we do not believe in putting a ceiling on talent. The final compensation package is tailored according to your unique experience and expertise.
