About this role
Ambition has no passport. That belief is why LemFi https://lemfi.com/en-gb/careers exists. We're the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve, the millions who move countries to build something better and find the financial system hasn't caught up with them yet. We started with remittances: the money people send home to the people they love. Now we run multi-currency accounts, Savings, eSIMs and Credit. Because staying connected to home and building somewhere new are not two separate things. They never were.
About the role
As the Senior Growth Manager for the France-Morocco corridor, you'll drive LemFi's expansion within the Moroccan diaspora in one of our most critical markets. While the primary focus of your community-building will be in France, we are open to candidates based in France, the UK, or other European countries where LemFi currently operates.
This is a growth role that requires you to be comfortable traveling to key diaspora hubs to build a physical community presence and drive high-leverage organic growth. You will direct influencer negotiations, manage external agencies and key community leaders, and execute grassroots field marketing.
You'll spend 3 to 5 days every few weeks in a new city (primarily across France or other key European hubs), representing LemFi at events, building partnerships, rigorously tracking campaign performance, and driving user acquisition. You're embedded in the communities we serve, acting as both a strategist and a ground-level operator. You will work across paid channels, organic strategy, and local product teams to drive massive user acquisition in this market, while serving as the voice of the user.
What you'll build and own
- Travel across France (and potentially other key European markets) 3 to 5 days every few weeks, establishing an on-the-ground presence in key cities. Attend community events, build and expand LemFi's community network with local Moroccan leaders and organizations, and grow relationships that build deep trust.
- Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored for the Moroccan diaspora communities in France and Europe. Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize based on data and insights.
- Source, negotiate directly with, and manage France/Morocco-focused influencers, community leaders, and external agencies to drive scalable organic growth.
- Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness, and advocacy, and participate in local events, meetups, and forums. Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners, implementing tracking mechanisms for the exact customer acquisition cost of your activities.
Your experience
- At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, marketing or similar.
- Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results. You're motivated by ambitious goals and comfortable being measured against clear KPIs.
- Strong data-driven mindset. You interpret data, track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders. You're a persuasive communicator who can influence partners and leaders.
- Entrepreneurial and tenacious. You take ownership, push through obstacles and find ways to win. Biased to action, you think critically and move quickly.
- Self-motivated and effective working independently and in remote environments. You're willing to travel extensively and work occasional weekends to support market growth.
Nice to have
- Prior experience launching or scaling ventures in new markets.
- Deep understanding of African and diaspora community in Europe. You're culturally fluent and comfortable immersing yourself in new cultural environments.
- Background in fintech, payments or diaspora-focused products.
- Established network within diaspora communities.
