ABOUT THE ROLE

Legora AB is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to play a lead role in shipping high-impact features and building scalable systems. In this senior position, you’ll own delivery of technical solutions from design through production, driving innovation while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and other teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Architect, design, and ship new features with a focus on speed, quality, and reliability

- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs and product ideas into robust technical solutions

- Lead engineers through the full software development lifecycle—from ideation and scoping to development, release, and ongoing optimization

- Work with technologies such as React, Node.js, AWS, Azure and Kubernetes

- Champion automation and process improvements that accelerate feature delivery and maintain technical excellence

- Ensure code quality, documentation, and compliance standards are met as features move from prototype to release

- Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, high-trust environment that values rapid delivery

WHO YOU ARE

- Extensive experience in software engineering, with a history of shipping impactful features in complex systems

- Deep understanding of system design, software architecture, and modern development practices

- Effective technical leader and mentor who prioritizes feature delivery without sacrificing quality

- Exceptional collaborator and communicator, comfortable working across disciplines and with stakeholders at all levels

- Advocate for continuous delivery, automation, and process efficiency
