FBMC is looking to add an Integration Engineer who is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting system integrations that enable seamless data flow across business applications. This role serves as a technical owner of Salesforce and related integrations, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, improve business processes, and support key technology initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Systems Integration & Salesforce Management
- Serve as a technical owner of the Salesforce platform, including configuration, integrations, and data management.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems using APIs, web services, webhooks, and ETL processes.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Establish and maintain Salesforce governance, security standards, data quality processes, and role-based access controls.
- Evaluate, implement, and support Salesforce managed packages and AppExchange solutions.
Project Delivery & Business Partnership
- Help lead system implementations, enhancements, and release activities from planning through deployment.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while providing regular project updates.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and technology optimization.
Reporting & Documentation
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.
- Create and maintain process, configuration, and integration documentation.
- Support user adoption through documentation, training materials, and release communications.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems integration, Salesforce administration, business systems, or related technology roles.
- Experience working with APIs, web services, integrations, and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience with Salesforce administration, workflows, reporting, and integrations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification.
- Experience in the benefits, insurance, or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with ETL tools, AppExchange products, and system governance best practices.
