Project / Product Manager — PSP & Payment Integrations

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a fintech company building payment infrastructure and AI-powered solutions for international markets. The company works with dozens of payment providers and payment methods, a large number of merchants, and multiple regions.

The team is currently working on two major tracks: bringing the company’s internal processes into a single platform and launching new product directions in neobanking and crypto processing.

Both require someone who can turn ideas into a structured plan — and that plan into a working product.

TRACK 1: INTERNAL PLATFORM — PRODUCT + PROJECT

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

- An internal CRM for Sales, BizDev, Legal, and Compliance: merchant and provider profiles, deal pipelines and statuses, KYB/KYC and compliance checklists, approval workflows, contracts, pricing, payment method and MID registries, roles, and access permissions.

- A transaction management and processing system: a single source of truth for transaction data, statuses, reconciliation, fee calculations, and settlements.

- Payment dashboards for management and internal teams: turnover, conversion, decline reasons, and provider/merchant performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Run discovery sessions with internal stakeholders across Sales, BizDev, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations, turning their requests into requirements, flows, and priorities.

- Independently create prototypes using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, v0, Lovable, Figma AI, or similar tools — clickable screens, forms, and dashboards — and show stakeholders how the solution will work before it goes into development.

- Build and own the roadmap for the internal platform and present it to management.

- Manage the backlog in Jira, decompose initiatives, plan through Jira Plans, and control delivery through release.

- Work with the technical team to define data models and dashboard metrics and ensure that the numbers in the system match reality.

- Maintain Confluence documentation as a single source of truth.

TRACK 2: NEW PRODUCTS — NEOBANKING & CRYPTO PROCESSING

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

Neobanking: accounts, IBANs, cards, payments, customer onboarding, and integrations with BaaS/licensed partners.

Crypto Processing: crypto deposits and payouts, on/off-ramp, wallets, conversion, blockchain confirmations, and integrations with custody and liquidity providers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Work with the Product Owner to turn product hypotheses into a product plan: MVP scope, stages, milestones, and success criteria.

- Quickly build prototypes when needed using AI/no-code tools to show developers and stakeholders what needs to be built instead of relying only on lengthy written descriptions.

- Build development plans covering estimates, resources, dependencies, critical paths, and timelines.

- Own delivery across the development team, QA, and external partners, including licensing, BaaS, and crypto providers.

- Manage non-technical dependencies, including licensing, compliance, and contractual requirements, and identify potential launch blockers in advance.

- Manage risks and scope changes and provide transparent status updates to management.

- Take the product through to its first real transaction and post-launch stabilization.

WHAT IS CRITICAL FOR US

1. STRONG PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

- 4+ years of experience managing product development — not only outsourced projects based on predefined specifications, but products with an in-house team and ownership of decisions.

- Advanced Jira skills: Epics, Tasks, Links, Workflows, and Jira Plans.

- Experience with planning, estimates, dependency management, risk management, and scope changes.

- Experience managing multiple development streams simultaneously.

- Structured and transparent documentation in Confluence.

2. PRODUCT THINKING FOR INTERNAL SYSTEMS

- Ability to run discovery, ask the right questions, and propose solutions rather than simply document requirements.

- Understanding of systems built for operational teams: workflows, roles, permissions, approvals, and audit trails.

- Ability to prioritize what should be built, why, and in what order.

3. TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING — NO CODING REQUIRED

- Ability to read API documentation and understand requests/responses, webhooks, authentication, and sandbox/staging/production environments.

- Understanding of product data models and ability to validate data independently — SQL at a confident reading level.

- Understanding of how systems integrate and where data inconsistencies may occur.

4. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

You will work with multiple internal stakeholders with different priorities, management, and external partners. You should be able to align people, maintain priorities, and keep the team focused.

5. AI PROTOTYPING

- Ability to independently build working prototypes — screens, forms, flows, dashboards — using Claude, Cursor, v0, Lovable, Bolt, Figma AI, or similar tools within hours rather than days.

- Use prototypes as a communication tool: show stakeholders what they will get and developers what needs to be built when written requirements are not enough.

- Understand that a prototype is used to remove uncertainty and align stakeholders — not to replace the development team.

- Actively use AI for analysis, documentation, and project management in your daily work.

A MAJOR PLUS

- Experience in payments / fintech: PSPs, payment integrations, transaction lifecycle, reconciliation.

- Neobanking, BaaS, core banking, ledger/accounts/wallets.

- Crypto: on/off-ramp, custody, blockchain integrations.

- KYB/KYC/AML processes and compliance workflows.

- High-risk industries: iGaming, betting, forex, crypto.

- BI tools such as Grafana, Metabase, Looker, or Power BI.

- Experience creating a prototype that was later developed and became part of a real product.
