ABOUT THE ROLE

Knox Systems is seeking a Program Manager, Business Operations to work directly with the Chief Operating Officer and lead high priority programs, special projects, product initiatives, and operational improvements across the company.

This role is designed for a highly capable operator who can take an ambiguous problem, bring structure to it, and drive it through execution. You will work across Operations, Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Customer Experience, and other teams to improve how Knox operates and help scale the business.

The role will also support the development and growth of KnoxAI, translating business and customer needs into product priorities and coordinating requirements, releases, adoption, and ongoing improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

● Lead strategic programs and special projects from initial concept through execution, establishing clear plans, owners, milestones, and success measures.

● Partner with the COO to turn business priorities and emerging needs into actionable programs and solutions.

● Coordinate cross functional initiatives, drive accountability, and proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers.

● Support KnoxAI product strategy and execution, including requirements, roadmap priorities, backlog management, pilots, testing, releases, and user feedback.

● Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into clear requirements and outcomes.

● Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, or automate business processes and lead those improvements through implementation.

● Develop workflows, SOPs, documentation, and scalable operating processes.

● Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into program, product, and operational performance.

● Analyze business and operational data and translate findings into recommendations and actions.

● Prepare executive briefings, business reviews, recommendations, and decision materials.

● Step into emerging priorities where ownership is unclear, establish structure, and transition successful initiatives into sustainable operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

● 3–5 years of experience in business operations, program management, product operations, strategy and operations, consulting, or a related role.

● Demonstrated ability to independently own complex projects and drive them from concept through completion.

● Strong program management, organization, and problem solving skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both executives and technical teams.

● Strong analytical skills and comfort working with KPIs, dashboards, and operational data.

● Experience improving processes and creating structure in environments where processes may not yet exist.

● Ability to influence and coordinate across teams without formal authority.

● Strong judgment, ownership, curiosity, and follow through.

● Ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly and operate effectively in a fast moving environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

● Experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud technology, AI, or federal technology.

● Experience with product management or product operations, including requirements, roadmaps, releases, QA, or customer feedback.

● Experience building processes, dashboards, reporting, or internal tools from the ground up.

● Experience working directly with senior executives.

● Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and analytics platforms.

● Experience with federal customers or regulated technology environments is a plus.

Compensation Range: 120-130k, variable annual bonus, and equity
