About this role

As Google Cloud's premier partner in AI and Data Transformation, we provide world-class businesses with the strategic consulting and technical execution required for cutting-edge data solutions in the cloud. We partner with clients to push the limits of leading technology by combining our expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics. With Google Cloud Platform as our foundation, we help businesses future-proof their solutions, deepen their understanding of consumers, increase competitive advantage, and unlock massive operational efficiencies through data transformation programs.

THE ROLE: Strategic Delivery & Transformation Leadership

As a Delivery Lead, you will leverage your delivery expertise to provide strategic consulting

and engagement leadership. You will work closely with the Account Manager and

technical/engineering leadership in order to grow our most strategic accounts. You will own

the end-to-end success of our most complex, high-value data and AI transformation projects

and programmes, from initial solution design and SOW creation through delivery and business

value realisation.

This position demands a highly consultative delivery executive with a proven ability to manage

complex commercial arrangements, steer multi-stream delivery teams, and maintain C-suite

relationships to ensure strategic alignment and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Consultative Engagement & Sales Process:

- Drive strategic alignment of technical delivery roadmaps to client’s strategy focussing on measurable business objectives.

- Become an expert in one of Datatonic’s core verticals: Telecommunications, Agency, Media & Entertainment, and Financial Services & Insurance

- Define large transformation programmes including design of operating models and change management.

- Large Programme Execution & Value Realization:

- Lead the execution of large, complex data and AI transformation programmes (involving multiple concurrent workstreams like Data Engineering, ML/AI, and Analytics), ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

- Relentlessly focus on maximizing ROI by linking technical deliverables directly to measurable business outcomes and tracking value realisation post-deployment.

- Apply and improve appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, Waterfall) suitable for large enterprise environments, acting as a change agent within the client's organisation.

- Financial & Commercial Ownership:

- Take full financial ownership of the P&L for our accounts, managing budget, forecasting revenue, tracking resource burn, and driving high margins and profitability.

- Own account health, proactively driving renewals and upselling opportunities to grow the account, identifying and managing key stakeholders, financial forecasts, and strategic risks (RAID management) across the entire portfolio.

- Executive Stakeholder Management:

- Manage communications and expectations at the executive and C-suite levels (client-side and internal), maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.

- Design and implement effective project governance systems appropriate for large enterprise engagements.

- Team & Organizational Development:

- Contribute to process, operational efficiency, and excellence within the Delivery function, continually challenging how we operate and improving our program management frameworks.

- Act as a mentor and facilitator, empowering delivery teams and paving the way for programme success.

- Project Management Fundamentals:

- While you will lean heavily into AI strategy and partner with our data squads, strong project management fundamentals are an essential anchor for this role. You will ensure healthy, predictable delivery by proactive milestone planning, managing scope, and monitoring resource burn. Keeping RAID logs sharp and governance tight behind the scenes is what makes our execution seamless for both our engineering teams and our clients.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated, Delivery Lead who meets the following criteria:

- Multiple years of experience within a consulting firm, Big Four or Technical Consultancy or software vendor focused on complex enterprise transformation.

- Experience managing large-scale data and/or AI transformation programs (million + dollar scope, multi-year duration, involving 10+ team members).

- Proven expertise in the pre-sales and commercial process, including SOW creation, deal structuring, and managing scope through contracts.

- Exceptional senior and executive stakeholder management experience, with the ability to communicate complex technical roadmaps into clear business language.

- Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience with financial management, forecasting, and P&L tracking for professional services engagements.

- Deep understanding of Agile and hybrid ways of working, particularly in the context of enterprise data programs.

- Agile Project Management, Prince2, or Scrum certification.

- Experience with JIRA or similar ITS software.

- A natural, engaging, and highly effective communicator and negotiator.
