About this role

Join d-Matrix and help build the future of AI inference. We’ve pioneered a memory-centric architecture that brings compute directly into memory, making AI faster, more energy efficient, and accessible on a global scale. From chips and software to rack-scale systems, our team is tackling some of AI infrastructure’s hardest challenges — and shipping breakthrough technology today. If you want to create what comes next and help make infinite inference possible, we’d love to hear from you.

Our culture is built on respect, collaboration, and direct communication. We value humility, we believe our different perspectives lead to better solutions, and we’re looking for people who are driven by execution and energized by hard problems.

Role Overview

d-Matrix is building the team behind the next era of AI inference, and the Head of Talent Acquisition will lead that effort. Reporting to the CHRO and serving on the HR leadership team, you will own global talent attraction, assessment, selection, and recruiting execution across the U.S., Canada, Australia, India, Serbia, and emerging markets in Asia and beyond. You will elevate our employer brand, raise talent density, and personally close exceptional technical and leadership talent in the competitive AI and semiconductor market. You will partner with executives, hiring leaders, and the HR leadership team to deliver an outstanding candidate-to-employee experience.

What You Will Do

- Define and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned to business priorities and growth.

- Build a distinctive employer value proposition and candidate narrative, and amplify d-Matrix’s mission and culture through talent marketing, networks, and proactive outreach.

- Lead pivotal technical and leadership searches personally, including influencing candidates, navigating competing offers, and closing.

- Raise talent density by partnering with leaders on success profiles, hiring standards, and structured, evidence-based interviewing, assessment, calibration, and selection.

- Lead and develop recruiters and sourcers, and manage agencies, executive search firms, contract partners, budgets, and recruiting operations.

- Own recruiting dashboards and KPIs, including funnel conversion, hiring velocity, quality of hire, source effectiveness, and candidate experience, and use the insights to improve outcomes.

- Deliver regular executive updates on hiring progress, talent-market intelligence, risks, and decisions, and hold leaders accountable for timely, high-quality hiring.

- Own onboarding and the internship program, and use recruiting technology, automation, and AI to scale the function.

What You Will Bring

- 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including leadership in high-growth technology.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

- Track record of scaling recruiting capabilities in fast-moving environments.

- Proven ability to attract, assess, negotiate with, and close technical and leadership talent against well-resourced competitors.

- Experience building an employer value proposition and implementing structured, fair selection practices that raise talent density.

- Executive presence and the credibility to advise and challenge C-suite and technical leaders, with strong business acumen and communication skills.

- Experience leading recruiters, sourcers, and external partners, with strong command of recruiting analytics, dashboards, ATS technology, and global recruiting operations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading recruiting across multiple international markets and supporting geographic expansion.

- Experience in AI, semiconductors, hardware, infrastructure, or adjacent deep technology.

- Track record of differentiating an emerging technology company in competitive talent markets.

- Familiarity with Ashby.
