About this role

VP of Growth — LatAm Fiber/Telecom Scale-up

About the Company

We're partnering with a fast-growing fiber internet provider reshaping how connectivity is delivered across Latin America — building a customer-first alternative to the traditional telco playbook: faster, more transparent, and genuinely better to deal with. Growth has come from earning subscribers one household at a time.

The company recently surpassed 100,000 customers in one LatAm market and is preparing to launch with a major consumer brand partner in a second country, with ambitions to expand across the region. Growth must now become systematic, not just a series of pushes.

The Role

Reporting to the COO, the VP of Growth will own how the company acquires, converts, and retains customers. The mandate: build a genuinely AI-native growth organization within a physical infrastructure business.

The ideal candidate is a product marketer at heart — someone who can define what the brand stands for and why households or small businesses should switch, and who ensures that message resonates everywhere, from a landing page to a WhatsApp reply or a retention call.

You should have owned a number, worked closely with a sales team, and know what it takes to make a commercial engine convert. This is a builder's role: the existing sales and marketing function got the company here; now it needs a leader to build a scalable growth system, tell the brand story at scale, efficiently grow a pipeline, and consistently deliver growth.

Customers invite this company into their homes to provide an essential service. Earning their trust means building relationships — now, at scale. We're looking for someone who can move the org from field-heavy to primarily digital while retaining the human touch, and scale that engine across Latin America.

What You'll Own

Product Marketing

- Own positioning, messaging, and value proposition across all segments, cities, and countries

- Drive pricing and packaging strategy — a competitive weapon, not just a cost-plus exercise

- Design go-to-market plans for new offerings and expansions, using a 24–36 month horizon for both B2C and B2B

- Translate customer insight into actionable positioning for the entire commercial org, from landing pages to field sales

- Own the B2B and SMB narrative and roadmap alongside consumer strategy

AI-Native Growth

- Lead the transition from field/direct sales to a digital-first, AI-powered acquisition engine

- Define and build the AI-native capabilities needed for segmentation, acquisition, and retention

- Own the full acquisition funnel — digital, field, and handoff — setting and managing CAC, conversion, and payback targets in partnership with finance

- Define the metrics and accountability structure to make growth performance clear and actionable

Commercial Direction and Enablement

- Set strategic direction for sales and enablement across the company's core markets

- Own the roadmap from field-heavy to digital-first, defining milestones and driving accountability

- Connect marketing, sales, and customer experience to ensure the commercial org operates as a system

Brand and Retention

- Own the brand as the company scales — consistent, distinctive, and "not-a-telco"

- Drive retention and churn strategy in partnership with customer experience

- Orchestrate customer marketing: onboarding, upsell, advocacy, and referral

Team and Operating Rhythm

- Inherit a marketing, brand, and sales org — and raise its ceiling with strategic clarity, ambition, and AI-native capabilities

- Own the operating rhythm: planning, budget ownership, and performance management across channels and campaigns

What We're Looking For

- 10+ years in growth or product marketing, at least 5 leading a team

- Deep product marketing expertise: owned positioning, pricing/packaging, and go-to-market launches (not just campaign execution)

- Experience in high-volume B2C categories: subscription, telco, utilities, fintech, or retail

- Experience carrying a revenue or CAC number, with close collaboration with sales teams

- Built AI-powered growth systems — automated funnels, predictive models, intelligent segmentation — and already doing this in practice

- Strong analytical skills — comfortable with funnel data and able to explain CAC/LTV with numbers

- Fluent Spanish and professional English; LatAm-based and bicultural preferred

- Comfortable being hands-on at the leadership level, close enough to know when work isn't landing as intended

We are NOT looking for:

- A CMO focused mostly on brand; this role requires commercial depth

- Someone seeking to manage AI vendors — instead of building AI capability in-house

- Someone needing a stable, well-defined playbook — here, you'll write it

- Exclusive experience in mature markets with established digital acquisition infrastructure

Why This Role

- Join a business with real traction and real customers, not just a hypothesis

- Genuine scope: marketing, commercial direction, pricing, and brand all under one leader

- Structured handover and onboarding with the outgoing growth leader for context and support

- Direct line to the executive team, with the ability to shape strategy rather than just execute
