About this role

About the role

april is looking for motivated Associate Customer Success Managers to join our growing Customer Success team. In this role, you'll partner closely with a Senior Customer Success Manager, supporting some of our most strategic wealth management and enterprise clients while developing the skills needed to eventually manage your own book of business.

You'll gain hands-on experience participating in client meetings, driving day-to-day account management, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and helping ensure successful partner outcomes. As you grow in the role, you'll progressively take ownership of client relationships, with the goal of independently managing enterprise accounts within your first year. Team members residing within the New York City metropolitan area are expected to work from our NYC office at least three days per week.

Key responsibilities

- Partner closely with Customer Success Manager(s) to support april's strategic wealth management and enterprise clients

- Participate in client meetings, implementation discussions, business reviews, and ongoing account management activities

- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders while learning how to navigate complex organizations

- Own day-to-day client requests, follow-ups, and project coordination to ensure an exceptional partner experience

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Tax Operations, and Implementation teams to execute client initiatives

- Help identify opportunities to expand partner engagement and deliver additional value

- Gradually assume ownership of client calls and account management responsibilities as you develop in the role

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, Relationship Management, or a similar customer-facing role

- Experience supporting enterprise, financial services, fintech, SaaS, or wealth management clients is preferred but not required

- Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with both internal and external stakeholders

- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Highly organized with strong project management and follow-through skills

- Curious, coachable, and eager to grow into managing strategic enterprise accounts

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

- Exposure to tax, financial services, or wealth management is a plus, but not required

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

About this listing

Published on Ashby under the board identifier April, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.

RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
