About this role

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role:

The Contracts Coordinator (IT, Network, & Cloud) serves as the vital bridge between technical engineering requirements and legal/financial compliance across Crusoe's rapidly scaling digital infrastructure. As we expand our high-performance cloud platforms and data center footprint, this role plays a pivotal purpose in structuring technology agreements, mitigating operational risk, and driving speed in vendor execution. You will act as the primary owner for technology contract workflows, ensuring our SaaS, IaaS, and network engagements align with Crusoe’s business goals and security standards.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented procurement or legal operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment and comfortably translates technical jargon from engineers into structured legal vehicles. Operating as a super-user of our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, Ironclad, you will manage end-to-end deal intake, draft crucial sub-agreements, and partner cross-functionally with Legal, IT, Security, and Strategic Sourcing.

This is a full-time & fully onsite at our San Francisco office.

What You’ll Be Working On:

- Contract Workflow & Ironclad Administration: Own the daily administration of Ironclad (CLM) and DocuSign, managing request creation, approval routings, parent-child document linking, naming conventions, signature execution, and dashboard reporting.

- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Structure and negotiate key transactional vehicles including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Orders, Amendments, NDAs, Data Protection Addendums (DPAs), and SLAs across SaaS, IaaS, and Network categories.

- Deal Assessment & Framework Selection: Act as the first checkpoint for technology procurement requests, evaluating deal scope, data exposure, and commercial risk to bucket transactions into the appropriate legal frameworks.

- Security & Data Compliance Alignment: Partner directly with Information Security and Legal teams to ensure vendor contracts meet strict cybersecurity standards and comply with GDPR, CCPA, and SOC 2 Type II requirements.

- Contractual Hierarchy & Metadata Governance: Maintain meticulous version control and parent-child document relationships across all agreement types in Ironclad to guarantee audit readiness and renewal visibility.

- Procurement Enablement & Training: Drive adoption of intake tools (Ironclad, Jira, Coupa), providing guidance and training to internal procurement and business teams on contracting processes.

- Vendor Consolidation & Optimization: Support category strategies by identifying overlapping software tools and working with sourcing leads to consolidate enterprise vendor bases.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Required Experience: 2 to 4 years of dedicated experience specifically in IT procurement, technology contract administration, or enterprise legal operations.

- Technical Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of SaaS, IaaS, Cloud hierarchy (Public vs. Private), virtualization, and data center network security protocols.

- Contractual & Commercial Acumen: Direct experience negotiating and reviewing MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and SLAs, with a firm grasp of Intellectual Property (IP) rights, indemnification, and liability limits.

- CLM & Procurement Systems Mastery: Hands-on proficiency using contract lifecycle management tools like Ironclad and DocuSign, alongside familiarity with Jira, Coupa, or modern ERP platforms.

- Cross-Functional Communication: Proven ability to translate complex engineering and IT requirements into structured, executive-ready business and contract terms.

Bonus Points:

- Professional Certifications: Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), or foundational cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

- Hyperscale / Infrastructure Background: Prior experience in data center operations, semiconductor, hyperscale cloud, or high-growth hardware/tech manufacturing environments.

- Process Optimization Experience: Track record of driving measurable contract cycle time reductions or building custom Ironclad workflow templates.

- Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
