About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small, early-stage consumer apps team as a founding design engineer. You will take product ideas from sketch through implementation and release, helping shape the full mobile app experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build mobile features from initial sketches through app store release.

- Create polished, native-feeling screens with thoughtful motion and haptic feedback.

- Develop product loops that encourage people to return to the app.

- Use product data and user conversations to evaluate features and improve the experience.

- Stay involved with the product after launch and refine what is not working.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience shipping mobile apps used by real people, with work that can be reviewed in an app store or similar setting.

- Experience designing visual and interaction details and implementing the resulting product code.

- Hands-on experience with Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin for mobile development.

- Familiarity with Firebase and TypeScript.

- Strong attention to detail, initiative in an open-ended environment, and the ability to use AI tools while understanding the code you ship.

About this listing

Published on Ashby under the board identifier Clera, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.

RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.

Published 28 October 2026, last checked 5 days ago. A posting stops being advertised here 90 days after the employer published it, and one the employer takes down is marked closed rather than quietly removed.
