About this role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early engineering team building software for property management. You will shape the data model, workflows, and AI capabilities that help teams coordinate leasing, maintenance, payments, and accounting, while working closely with company founders and property management staff.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the data models and workflows that support a property management operating system.
- Develop AI systems that use property context to complete tasks, identify missing information, and escalate work to people when needed.
- Make practical engineering decisions in areas where correctness matters, including payments, financial records, and resident and owner communications.
- Ship software to users, learn from system gaps and feedback, and improve the product.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience taking projects from problem definition through launch and iteration, ideally in an early-stage startup or founding engineering role.
- A track record of building and shipping production software end to end, in backend or full-stack engineering.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL, or the ability to learn these tools quickly.
- Ownership, adaptability, and comfort working in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience range: 0 to 10+ years. Real estate or property management experience is relevant but not required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: $150,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Published on Ashby under the board identifier Clera, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.
RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
