Comparison
Kickresume vs Novoresume, dimension by dimension
Both products are scored on the RoleSprint Decision-First Score, a rubric we publish and that weights deciding which roles are worth pursuing over producing applications faster. That weighting is a position, not a neutral measure, and it is the first thing to disagree with if you disagree with the result.
Which is better, Kickresume or Novoresume?
Kickresume takes it 47 to 43 out of 100 on the RoleSprint Decision-First Score. Kickresume leads on opportunity prioritization, evidence-based fit, transparency, workflow utility; they are level on candidate control, search-strategy clarity, privacy and claim discipline. The widest single gap is opportunity prioritization, 1 points to Kickresume, so that is the dimension to decide on if you care about only one. Taken on their own, Kickresume is strongest on candidate control at 15 of 15, and Novoresume on candidate control at 15 of 15. They also work differently. Kickresume: You apply yourself, everywhere. Kickresume produces the files; it never touches an employer's site. Novoresume: You apply yourself. Novoresume produces files and nothing else. The rubric is ours, it is published in full, and RoleSprint sells against both of these products.

- What this comparison is not
- Not a hands-on test. No paid account was created for either product, so nothing here rests on using them; it rests on their own published pages, read on the dates shown, and on a rubric you can read and disagree with.
Source and method
Kickresume and Novoresume live pages, plus the RoleSprint Decision-First Score rubric. Verified 2026-08-30. Product facts and pricing are read from each vendor's own pages on the dates recorded; where the two records were verified on different dates, the earlier date is shown so nothing looks fresher than it is. Scores and totals are RoleSprint's, computed from the rubric published at /compare/methodology, last updated 2026-08-27. RoleSprint publishes these pages and sells a competing product. The rubric they are scored on is ours, it is published in full, and RoleSprint is scored on it alongside everything else — including on the dimensions where it does not win. Read the rubric before trusting any total on this page, including ours.

Why each score is what it is
The reasoning per dimension, for both products, so a disagreement can be about the argument rather than the number.
Opportunity prioritizationKickresume 2, Novoresume 1, RoleSprint 22, out of 25
Kickresume. Kickresume has a Career Map feature that explores paths, but nothing in the product evaluates a specific posting or tells you which of the roles in front of you deserves the effort. Two points for the exploration surface existing at all.
Novoresume. Novoresume is a document builder and makes no attempt to evaluate roles. The single point acknowledges that it does not pretend otherwise anywhere on its pricing page.
Evidence-based fitKickresume 6, Novoresume 5, RoleSprint 17, out of 20
Kickresume. The ATS Resume Checker assesses a document against general parsing and formatting rules, which is a real check and a useful one. It is not a comparison between your evidenced history and a particular employer's stated requirements, which is what this dimension measures.
Novoresume. The product claims ATS-friendly structure and offers content guidance through its builder. That is document-level assistance; nothing compares your history against a named posting's requirements.
Candidate controlKickresume 15, Novoresume 15, RoleSprint 15, out of 15
Kickresume. Full marks. Kickresume submits nothing, contacts nobody and automates no part of applying. On this dimension it is level with RoleSprint.
Novoresume. Full marks. No submissions, no outreach, no automation of any kind touching an employer.
TransparencyKickresume 13, Novoresume 12, RoleSprint 13, out of 15
Kickresume. A complete tier table across three billing terms with billed totals, an itemised permanent free tier, and a 14-day money-back guarantee printed on the page. Two points withheld: the AI Writer's limits are unstated, and prices are geo-routed without a visible currency control.
Novoresume. Three prices published plainly with the savings stated, and an explicit "pay once, no recurring billing" line — which is the single most useful transparency fact in this category. Points withheld because what happens to documents when a term lapses is not stated, and prices are geo-routed.
Search-strategy clarityKickresume 1, Novoresume 1, RoleSprint 9, out of 10
Kickresume. Nothing in the product examines a set of target roles or reports whether the targeting is coherent. The single point reflects Career Map giving some sense of adjacent directions.
Novoresume. No targeting analysis of any kind. The point reflects the career blog's general guidance rather than any product feature.
Workflow utilityKickresume 7, Novoresume 6, RoleSprint 5, out of 10
Kickresume. A genuinely strong document workflow: 40+ templates each for resumes and cover letters, LinkedIn and PDF import, mobile apps and a personal website builder. Ahead of RoleSprint on breadth of artefact production.
Novoresume. A capable builder with layouts, matching cover letters and specialised sections, but a narrower surface than the suites in this set: no tracker, no extension, no job discovery.
Privacy and claim disciplineKickresume 3, Novoresume 3, RoleSprint 4, out of 5
Kickresume. No hiring-rate statistic is claimed. Points withheld for "get hired faster", "approved by recruiters" with no recruiters named, and review-score badges displayed on the vendor's own page.
Novoresume. No hiring-outcome statistic is published. Points withheld for the unverified "16M+ job seekers" figure and for an unqualified "ATS Friendly" claim, which no vendor can guarantee across employers.
Who should pick which
Choose Kickresume
Someone whose resume looks homemade. Kickresume's templates are genuinely good, the free tier lets you export without paying, and if a hiring manager's first reaction to your document is about its appearance rather than its content, this fixes a real problem that RoleSprint does not touch at all.
The full Kickresume reviewChoose Novoresume
Someone who wants a good-looking resume, wants to pay for it once, and does not want to remember to cancel anything. For a short, focused search that is a genuinely better deal than a subscription, and the no-recurring-billing promise is printed on the page rather than implied.
The full Novoresume reviewNeither product is RoleSprint, and for some readers neither is the right answer. If both are optimising the production of applications and your applications are already going out in reasonable numbers without converting, the thing to change is which roles you are spending them on, and that is a different category of tool.
Who published this and what they sell

No paid account was created for either product. Facts were read from each vendor’s own live pages on the dates shown above, and anything only visible behind a sign-up is recorded as unverified rather than estimated.
What to do next
Both products change how many applications you send. Whether that is your bottleneck is a separate question, and it is answerable with numbers you already have.
